ABOUT ME

I am a professor at Florida International University, where I teach history and theory of Architecture.  This book arose out of a frustration that history courses have a time-scale that is way too short to help us understand the climate issues we face.  

 

I was inspired by Charles and Ray Eames film, "Powers of 10," which zooms from the microscopic to the telescopic.  And I love maps.
